In today's world, with advanced technology and easy access to luxury and AI, we might assume that first impressions matter more than ever. However, whether they truly matter is often relative and depends on the situation.

I grew up in a culture where dressing up to visit the doctor, attend a funeral, or meet a lawyer—or anyone with an academic diploma—was considered important, both for them and for us. The goal was not necessarily to impress, but to show respect, as this was a part of our cultural values.

But how far should we take this first impression? Sometimes, it truly reflects who you are; other times, it may be just a "fake appearance" to achieve a certain outcome. I still believe first impressions are important, but it is even more crucial to know who you are and to understand your own limits.
