I am smart.

I don’t know how you grew up. If you grew up in a house where your mother and father made you believe in yourself from the very beginning. Or if your caregivers didn't encourage you. Nevertheless. Both ways might impact your childhood.

However, if you are lucky, you get to grow up and make your own decisions, and hopefully, in retrospect, look back and say, well, here I am in my life.

Because of my mother and my father, I am smart.

Or because of the lack of support from my mother and my father, I am smart.

Either way, you have to look back, and by the time you have your own family, you can say with certainty. I am smart.

It took me a long time to own this sentence with confidence, not just like chanting some positive affirmation. Really own the three words

…I am Smart.

Mory Carballo

It’s simple: every day is a new beginning. Every day truly offers a fresh start! I once believed that success required a specific image or way of speaking. However, I've learned that as adults, we have the power to reshape our lives and become who we aspire to be.
